Covid-19 is the most serious pandemic of ,my lifetime. It has the potential, if not checked to kill more people worldwide than died during the second world war. There’s nothing remotely trivial about that. So why am I not afraid?

The more we sit around in our isolation and worry about the future the more miserable we will become.
Yes, coronavirus is bad.
Yes, coronavirus should be taken seriously.
Yes, coronavirus can kill us.
But for now, if you’re at home with no symptoms, don’t destroy the moment on pointless speculation about moments to come.
The more you think about contracting the disease the more you’ll experience the misery that comes with it long before your turn to suffer comes around.
This moment is OK – don’t ruin it with thoughts of a future moment you can do nothing more to prevent.
