Racists find themselves increasingly isolated by the more reasonable members of society
For racists the group is defined in very simple, easy to recognise terms. If you’re the same colour as ‘us’ then you’re one of ‘us’. If you’re a different colour then you’re ‘them’. Since the problems we face can’t be acknowledged as part of ‘us’ it must come from ‘them’.
It’s no coincidence that racist, xenophobic groups like UKIP and the BNP began to experience electoral success just as the economy crashed (mainly due to the actions of white bankers). Such discrimination is predictable at times of social pressure.
It mirrors the rise in anti-semitism in medieval Europe as the Black Death spread across the continent and the people scapegoated minorities. It mirrors the rise of the Nazis in Germany following the disastrous economic penalties enforced by the treaty of Versailles at the end of World War One. The German people needed someone to blame who was not ‘us’. They chose the highly visible minorities of Jews, Blacks, Communists and Gypsies.
Let’s examine the psychological processes in more detail.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not ‘woke’ in the sense that Mr. Fox would describe it. I’m not about to claim that everyone I disagree with is a racist. Nor would I ever claim that anyone who doesn’t advocate illegal violence or discrimination should be ‘de-platformed’. I really do believe in freedom of speech as anyone who has watched my videos on the subject will know. But that doesn’t mean I agree with Laurence.
I don’t think he’s racist though. I think he’s in exactly the same place I was in myself once upon a time. I’ve never been racist either but for a long time I, like Mr. Fox, believed that white privilege was a myth, a cheap ‘tit for tat’ jibe intended to silence white people, especially white men in the worst kind of passive-aggressive, ad hominem argument.
Yesterday the news broke that Andrew Sabisky, Eugenicist, racist and all round dismisser of other peoples’ worth had been employed as advisor to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson (who definitely is not racist). Today we hear that Mr. Sabisky has resigned as advisor to the (definitely not racist) Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
Several of my lefty colleagues are proclaiming a victory this morning over the Johnson regime (that still really definitely isn’t racist) because public outrage has forced the nasty little eugenicist to go. But they’ve missed the point. Sabisky has already served his purpose and the message from this (absolutely not racist) government will have been received loud and clear.
Sabisky’s appointment is just the latest in a long line of reassurances from Prime Minister Johnson (who really doesn’t have a racist bone in his body) to the UK’s racist population that Number 10 is on their side. From comments about Picaninnies, Watermelon smiles and letter boxes to the appointment of shady figures like Dominic Cummings (or did Cummings appoint Johnson?) and shady links to alt right figureheads like Steve Bannon the (undeniably NOT racist) Mr. Johnson has being spreading out the red carpet for British race hate groups for years.

So the very fact that Mr. Sabisky was employed at all by (the completely, absolutely and totally not racist) Mr. Johnson far outweighs the fact that he has been forced to resign by “lefty, pinko snowflakes that hate freedom speek and can’t see the true that British peeple is best and always is white – not like them forriners”.
This isn’t any sort of victory for the left – this is evidence that we’ve been played – yet again. Not only has the PM doubled-down on his friendship with racists (who aren’t at all like Boris himself) by appointing Sabisky in the first place but he’s also managed to divide the country even further as part of his (not at all obvious or racist) ‘divide and rule’ strategy.
But in the interests of balance, just in case you think I’m being too hard on the (not racist) Prime minister, here’s a short Youtube clip of Boris being not racist…
